La case de couronnement des Almamy du Fouta Djallon is part of the Tentative list of Guinea in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The coronation hut of the Almamy of Fouta Djallon represents the capital of the Muslim Fulani in the 18th and 19th centuries, who held a theocratic rule over the region. The circular hut made from clay was the place where the coronation ceremony of the new Almamy (emperor) took place.
